Vietnam Art Collection (VAC) hân hạnh giới thiệu TEAROOM RELAY – COLLOQUIAL, phiên bản thứ năm của dự án Tearoom, diễn ra vào ngày 10–11 tháng 3 năm 2025. Khởi xướng bởi các nghệ sĩ từ Städelschule (Đức), Tearoom là một chương trình nghệ thuật đa ngành bao gồm trình chiếu, đọc diễn giải, sắp đặt âm thanh và trình diễn, khám phá những chủ đề về văn hóa, ngôn ngữ và trải nghiệm tập thể.
Trước khi đến Việt Nam, Tearoom đã được giới thiệu tại các nền tảng nghệ thuật quốc tế quan trọng, bao gồm Venice Biennale of Architecture (2021) và Delfina Foundation, London (2023).

🔹 Tearoom: “Against the Glass Wall“
Ngày: 10 tháng 3, 2025
Địa điểm: Manzi Space, 2 Ngõ Hàng Bún, Ba Đình, Hà Nội
Thời gian: 16:00 – 19:00
Một buổi gặp gỡ xoay quanh hình ảnh động, mở ra không gian giao lưu nghệ thuật và văn hóa. Phiên bản lần này bao gồm các tác phẩm được tuyển chọn từ đợt mở đơn kêu gọi video, với sự đóng góp của các nghệ sĩ Việt Nam cùng những tiếng nói từ cộng đồng sáng tạo tại Đức. Duy Anh từ Hoa Quỳnh Cinema cùng các nghệ sĩ từ lớp Haegue Yang tại Städelschule sẽ tuyển chọn một số video cho chương trình. Sự kiện mang tính giáo dục và đối thoại này hướng đến việc kết nối các thực hành nghệ thuật.

Elisa Diaferia và Juri Simoncini, Arnaud Ferron, Coline Gouriou, Etienne Le Coquil, Augustine Paredes, Aerin Hong, Thuy-Tien Nguyen, Emmilou Roessling, Farhanaz Rupaidha, Imaan Sattar, Eden Sebban, Moritz Tontsch, Ludvig Wilén, Chengyu Wu, Hangping Yang, và Yu Yang.
Về Tearoom
Dự án Tearoom ra đời tại Städelschule Gasthof vào năm 2022, khi các sinh viên của nghệ sĩ Haegue Yang biến lớp học của họ thành một không gian thử nghiệm mở dành cho trình diễn, thiền định, hòa nhạc và thảo luận. Kể từ đó, Tearoom đã phát triển thành một nền tảng nghệ thuật, thúc đẩy sự trao đổi sáng tạo giữa các bối cảnh văn hóa khác nhau.

TEA ROOM RELAY – COLLOQUIAL
Vietnam Art Collection (VAC) is honored to present TEA ROOM RELAY – COLLOQUIAL, the fifth iteration of the Tearoom project, taking place March 10–11, 2025. Initiated by artists from Städelschule in Germany, Tearoom is a multi-disciplinary program featuring screenings, readings, soundscapes, and performances that explore themes of culture, language, and collective experience.
Before coming to Vietnam, Tearoom was presented at major international art platforms, including the Venice Biennale of Architecture (2021) and Delfina Foundation, London (2023).

🔹 Tearoom: “Against the Glass Wall“

Location: Manzi Exhibition Space, 2 Hang Bun Alley, Ba Dinh, Hanoi
Time: 4:00 – 7:00 PM
A late afternoon gathering centered around moving images, creating a space for cultural and artistic exchange. This edition features works selected from an open-call video submission, with contributions from Vietnamese artists alongside voices from the broader creative community in Germany. Duy Anh from Hoa Quynh Cinema and artists from the Haegue Yang class of Städelschule will curate a selection of videos for the program. This educational and dialogic event aims to foster connections between different artistic practices.

About Tearoom
The Tearoom project began at Städelschule Gasthof in 2022, when students of artist Haegue Yang transformed their classroom into an experimental space for performances, meditation, concerts, and discussions. Since then, it has evolved into an ongoing artistic platform, fostering creative exchange across different cultural contexts.
